Kathy passed away on Sept 22, 2012 of cancer. Katherine Ann Heitsch, age 64, of Waterford (formerly of Keego Harbor), died Saturday, September 22, 2012. Kathy was born July 10, 1948 in Loma Linda, CA daughter to William C. and Marjorie (Zeismer) Heitsch. In 1966, Kathy graduated from Adelphian Acadamy in Holly, MI. She worked most of her career in the insurance services industry, primarily as an office manager. Kathy worked for Guardian Life most recently, but had a very long career with Blue Cross/ Blue Shield in South Carolina and Chicago. Kathy was an absolute expert knitter. Kathy is survived by her brothers: William (Kay) Heitsch of Grand Blanc, George (Lisa) Heitsch of Commerce Township and John (Julie Heitsch of St. Louis, MI; step mother: Mary Ann Heitsch of Lapeer; nieces & nephews: Shannon (Joe) Mertz, Brandon Heitsch, Joshua (Heather) Heitsch, Cory (Rebecca) Heitsch, Elizabeth Heitsch, Steven Heitsch & Emily Heitsch; great-niece & nephews: Alexander, Paxton, Noah, Eleanor & Elijah. Kathy is also survived by her dear cat, Lilly. Kathy requested no service and no obituary - she was a very private person.
