My lifework has been construction. I lived and worked in Owosso, MI for 52 years. I was married to Maxine Titus in 1949 and fathered 5 children, 2 boys and 3 girls. My youngest daughter died of liver cancer in 1997. In August of 1998 my wife, Maxine, died suddenly of liver cancer. In December of 1998 I married a family friend (of 50 years) Nina Hall, who had lost her husband, Jesse, to cancer in May of 1998. Our children attended school together in Owosso so both families were well acquainted. Nina and I have enjoyed doing lots of traveling in the nearly 6 years since we were married in Zephyrhills, FL. At the present time we have a Ford Van B&B and are already racking up the miles on it. (You might see us parked in YOUR driveway sometime!) Our permanent home is across from Camp AuSable in the basement of the house owned by Dr. Arthur Weaver and rented by Rocco and Tina Maccarone, part of the Clark/Hall tribe!! We enjoy the "happenings" of the Camp where Rocco is the Food Service Director and Tina is the Laundry/Housekeeping Director. We have done some volunteer work at Camp and have the pleasure of seeing old friends who show up for different reasons at Camp. The Boardwalk offers a great way to get exercise and enjoy nature. (We were surprised by a porcupine walking across in front of us just the other day. And a flock of wild turkeys visited our bird feeder recently. The deer are ALWAYS tramping around at night! They enjoyed all our geraniums! We finally filled the flower bed with silk flowers!!! They even pulled THEM up and tossed them out in the grass!) Give us a holler on our email bug or drive in next time you are up at camp or in the north country!! You may LUCK OUT and find us home!!
