I am a Special Education teacher for grades 7-8 in an inner-city school in Dayton, Ohio. I love my job - I get to teach students how to read! It changes their lives. I feel like a missionary as I work with people in urban poverty - a totally different culture. I am also a private Dyslexia Therapist and LD Consultant, presently taking more graduate classwork. My husband is back in school, training as a hospital chaplain. We have 3 children. Our baby, Rachel, graduates from GLAA May, 2004, then heads for Andrews. Sara, and her son, Andrew, share our home. Grandson Andrew is nearly 5 and delights us daily. Our oldest child, James, is finishing his 2nd year in law school in Chicago where he lives with his wife, Angela, an artist. I recently walked away from a major car accident and thank God for sparing my life. We love Children's Sabbath School Ministries and Bible Study groups. We also enjoy birdwatching in the Spring, reading, perrenial gardening, flea marketing, playing Chess, camping, and racquetball. Would love to hear from former classmates.
