I married Richard in 1956. After he finished EMC in 1957, we moved to California. We have two children, Jill (1961) and Eric (1966). No grandchildren. I've worked as a church secretary and as a buyer at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, taking time to be an at-home mom when my children were born and until they were both in school. Richard retired from 20th Century Fox five years ago, and I'll retire when I'm ready! We attend the Eagle Rock SDA Church where we are both very active. My present volunteer "job" is as editor of "CE Notes." This is the quarterly newletter of Christian Edition, a men's chorus. This means I get to travel with them, take lots of pictures, have lots of fun and then put together a newsletter that keeps the "fans" informed of activities and the concert schedule. I attended Adelphian from 1951 through 1954. I lived at home with my parents (Harry & Vesta Wohlers, my Dad being the Business Manager at AA) the first three years and in the dorm the last year. I also attended the Holly SDA School from second grade and although I was born in Indiana, I tell people I'm from Michigan. Vesta Joyce passed away of pancreatic cancer at 5:17am Sunday, April 22, 2007.
