Linda Powers Hamstra

Graduated with an AD in nursing in 1965, married Jim hamstra, a high school teacher, in 1967. Worked as ER supervisor until our first son Brent, was born. He is single and is a Chemistry professor at Southern University. Jason, our second son, is married, a charter high school principal and the father of our 1-year old grandson, Owen, and married to Cori, an RN. Christopher our third son is an RN, the father of our 3-year old grandson (adopted from Moldova) and Lily our 8-month old granddaughter (adopted from South Korea) and married to Christie, a PT. I have worked in Long term care since 1977 as nursing management, Director of Nursing and Administrator. I worked in the same facility until 2001. Currently I am working for a consulting firm that provides services to long term care facilIties. The greatest joy of my life is being "Nana".
