As of June 19, 2014, I'm living with, and being a caregiver for, my mother at her home in Holly, MI. She is now 98, and although she's been diagnosed with dementia, she's holding her own quite well. My plan is to remain with my mother until she no longer needs me, and then to move back to my house in Kingman, AZ.

Meanwhile, I'm enjoying getting together with old friends from Adelphian and the neighborhood and attending the Holly SDA church.

HISTORY: I attended Andrews University, graduating in 1969. Then I returned to school in CA, was accepted into the Dietetic Internship program at Loma Linda University, followed by graduate school, and graduation from LLU in 1975. I worked as a registered dietitian most of the time after graduation, with a few odd jobs while raising my son and daughter. My most recent job was with a dialysis company as a renal dietitian, from which I retired in late May 2014.

My son, Caleb Darnell, and his wife Trina, have two beautiful daughters; Karagin Rose, born 12-4-01, and Abigail Paige, born 1-28-03.

My daughter, Caitlin Stuart, and her husband, Jacob, have a daughter, Addye Mae, born 07-14-11, and a son, Malcolm Glenn, born 05-31-13. I love being a grandmother.

My church membership remains with the Kingman SDA church. (My NOW photo was taken in April 2012; I'm holding my granddaughter Addye Mae.)
