I attended Andrews and graduated in 1951. I married Wilma Cesario June 14, 1951, we moved to Loma Linda where I attended for 4 years and graduated from Medical School in 1955. I interned at pontiac General and then entered the army from Aug, 1956 - August 10. 1958. David ouir son was born the last year of Medical school March 8, 1955 and Laura was born March 22, 1957 while I was stationed at Fort Lawton in Seatle. i returned to Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac Michigan and finished a residency in OB-GYN and joined a 2 man practice in Pontiac. We were very active in the church. Wilma had finished her Medical Technology training at Loma Linda just as I started so she helped with the expenses of going to school, and then worked for a number of years. then became full time Mom and was very active with Community Services and giving of Bible studies. I retired in October 1994 and we moved to Berrien Springs, Michigan, and built a home. We have many trips over seas which we have enjoyed. I spent 2 months in Guam working in the SDA Clinic doing OB-GYN, I was a very enjoyable experience, although I did wonder at 2 AM wondering why I was watching and worrying about a patient in labor having her first baby re Pitocin vs C-Section etc.. Wilma is on chemo for the past 3 year as her breast cancer from 92 returned to her spine so she has to be on chemo and that has slowed her down, but she is up and does not have severe pain. I have been in good health and was playing tennis untilI tore my bicep and rotator cuff. May God Bless each of you. Ray and Wilma. I did well after my surgery. Wilma had more trouble with neuropathy from her chemo. She went off Chemo July 03, and gradually became weaker, unable to walk, could not roll over in bed and had trouble swallowing. Because of the need of increased nursing care I moved her into a nursing home, they took good care of her. but she was getting weaker and died Nov. 15, after being in the nursing home 3 weeks. Ray
