Spent 2 years at Berrien then 2 at Loma Linda. Graduated in dietetics in '51. Married Kenneth Saunders, June 51. He was a great husband--spoiled me rotten for 40 years. Lived in Calif and Mich until leaving for Mission service in '57. Spent 4 years in Pakistan and 10 in Ethiopia. After returning to US, lived in Hermiston Oregon for over 20 years and moved to Walla Walla in '92. My husband and sister Dorothy both died in June '93.(My year form hell) After my husband became ill I worked as an hospital dietitian from '80-'90. I had four children. Vicki (never married) is a Dietitian at St. Helena Hospital, CA. Second daughter Betsy teaches here at Walla Walla Valley Academy. Her husband manages the local Credit Union. She has two sons here in college. They are 6'7" and 6'8' and both play basketball. My son Greg is a surgeon in Nigeria for 9 years. He has four children. The oldest is 6' 10" and just started college here. Their daughter Sara( my only grandaughter) attends Maxwell Academy in Kenya and 2 younger boys are home schooled. I have visited them in Nigeria six times. I bought an apartment building here that has four rental units whcih gives me enough discretionary income to travel rather extensively. Am going to the Dominican in Jan'03 on a Maranatha trip. Do quite a lot of volunteer work here. Frequently cooking for Athletic tournaments at the college. Of course I attend quite a few basketball games!!! Just turned 73 and am thankful for good health. God Bless!!! Aileen
