Dwight Rhodes, Former Choir Director, passes away at age 88
We sadly announce the news that Dwight Rhodes, former Adelphian Academy Choir Director, passed away on April 11, 2013. He had just celebrated his 88th birthday when this photo was taken.
He had been making plans to attend 1963 class reunion in Holly in June, 2013. According to a post by his daughter, he was practicing the school song so that he could play it on that occasion.
He was active on Facebook and adapted to the computer age, emailing and forwarding interesting photos and tidbits.
Class Sponsor Attends 2012 Reunion
Dwight Rhodes, former Choir Director and Faculty Member, and class sponsor drove in from Springfield, MO with his two daughters, one an Alumnus of Adelphian and the other who attended Indiana Academy, to attend the 2012 Adelphian Alumni week-end activities.
