Keith Dowell
Class of 1955

Keith Dowell, age 75, died in July of 2012 after battling multiple myeloma for 15 months.

Keith spent 27 years as an educator within the Adventist educational system. He served as boys' dean, history teacher, religion teacher, and academic registrar at several academies, as well as returning to serve as principal at Adelphian Academy where he had attended from 1952-1955.

After his retirement, he committed his time and heart to the Kissimmee Adventist Church. He taught for Sabbath School regularly and preached on occasion, particularly on issues of religious liberty.

He loved his family, his church, and inspired students to achieve academic excellence.

He is survived by 3 children and 3 grandchildren.
