After graduating from Adelphian Academy, in Holly, Larry entered the skilled trades in the field of fire protection, serving as a union sprinkler fitter in Local 704 for 33 years before retiring in 1998. In his younger days, Larry enjoyed scuba diving and teaching karate, in which he held a fourth degree black belt in the style of Isshinryu. He was also an avid Amateur Radio operator (KB8DC) and golfer, and later, boater, and motorcyclist, having traversed the country multiple times on his BMW. Shortly after retiring, Larry took up painting, becoming an accomplished artist in the medium of acrylics. Larry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Bowron; daughters Heidi Acuna and Heather Kelly; son, Aaron Bowron and their daughters, Alectra, Carlie, Kelli, and Violette; and brother, Gerald Bowron. His older brother, Jack Bowron, predeceased him in death. Larry was a faithful husband and loving father, who was kind, gentle, and patient. Larry was a Christian who loved and feared the Lord Jesus Christ, whom he served throughout his life.
